UV protection
Clothing protects against UV rays. The level of protection is dependent on various points:
- Polyester protects very well against UV rays, far better than cotton.
- Colour absorbs rays. Dark colours provide better protection than light ones.
- ODLO does not use any chemicals to improve the UV protection. High protection is often achieved by the inclusion of chemicals in fabrics, but they wash out after just a few visits to the washing machine. ODLO, on the other hand, offers ongoing protection throughout the lifetime of its clothing products. That exvellent protection against UV rays is achieved by ODLO through the use of dense weaven and fabrics.
