Taking responsibility to secure the future

Sustainability and social responsibility have been at the heart of Odlo's corporate culture since the company was founded 70 years ago. As a quality-conscious Swiss company with a long family tradition, it is particularly important for us to run our business in line with these principles. We take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously, as we want future generations to also enjoy sporting activities in a beautiful natural environment.

Odlo's commitment to the environment is reflected in our underwear range, which holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification. This guarantees that the materials we use contain no harmful substances. The green dot on the underwear packaging signifies that it is fully recyclable.

Approximately 52% of Odlo's products are manufactured in Europe and the Middle East, mainly in our own factories. This means we have direct control over manufacturing conditions and ensures goods are not transported over unnecessarily long distances.

All of Odlo's products are long-lasting - an important aspect of sustainability. New, environmentally-friendly materials are tested on a regular basis and incorporated into our products wherever possible. The in-house development of new technologies, such as our Integration recycled polyester fibre, is also a key element in our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

Since 2008, Odlo has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the improvement of labour conditions in the textile industry.

More information on sustainability and social responsibility can be found in our Sustainability Report 2015/16.
